Folks,
Just got word that a dear friend, a preacher in Centre County, PA, has bad news on his dad. His pops has had knee replacement, fought back. Had a few heart challenges lately and they found his stints and bypass graphs from 99' have gotten "muck" in them...so they did a cath to remove and replace. His Dad started to clot spontaneously. Darnedest thing they've seen..had to back on out quick like!
He's on a vent, knocked out...and a heart pump. They're trying to wean him now and they put in a pacemaker.
Lots going on and his folks live in NW, PA a good drive from his home in Centre where he pastors.
Please keep prayers up for the Campbell family, especially the father and mother as there is a lot of need there at the moment. The grown sons and grandkids all need some prayers to get through this too.
Thanks.
Carl, Keep the Son in your eyes!

Thanks, Guys. Carl was home mid week then turned around to go back. He was to come home just to preach tomorrow. I left voice mail today, but didn't hear anything. I don't know if that is good news or not.
His dad is only 75 or thereabouts. Neat guy. Neat family. Prayers continue for full healing that all might return to a normal life and he see his grandkids graduate.

Haven't been able to reach Carl since he returned to his parent's home toward last week's end. Nobody was home at the house either. I felt a cold chill...
Tonite, I finally reached Carl by cell. I don't know why exactly, but the news hit me hard. His father didn't make it. The damage from the first problem during the cath left too much of the heart scarred and dead. A seconday procedure showed the massive loss of tissue. They took off the artificial stuff and he lasted but 15 min.
Prayers for Dean's wife, both their sons, the others who knew and loved this man along with the grandkids. They've now lost both grandads by their 17th birthdays.
Dean, Keep an eye on us. Scout out some good country for us up there. We'll miss you...
