Trad Gang member Two Wolves has lost his grandpa this evening. I have never met the man but listening to the stories about how he introduced Bill to the outdoors and life lessons are tremendous. My prayers go out him and his family!

Joe, thanks for sharing...

Sounds like his grandpa was a great guy...taught him about things that matter!

Thanks for the information, Joe. He told me some stories about him and his grandfather too. Bill had high praise about his grandpa for sure. I am sorry to hear it.

Missed this one. Our "mentors" are hardest to loose, but they live on in what they've taught us as their lessons will continually be replayed...and re-lived as we then teach those the same lessons who are coming on behind.

Sorry to the mods, I am relatively new to the site and over looked this part of the forum. Bill really appreciates you guys and your prayers. This has surely been a tough time for them and hopefully they can find some comfort in your responses.

Thank you all for the prayers and thoughts. I am my Grandfather's legacy. His memories live on and all he taught me will be passed on to my grandchildren. Long live the way of the outdoors.

I too missed this one...I still remember the things my Grandpa told me till this day. He changed his address to heaven in 1967 when I was 8 years old. His influnce and teaching have lived on in my children as well. So I guess while we can not touch them physically they always live in our heart and in out lives for sure. I miss mine, as well, they will too but they live on in us. I will pray for this family in this dark time as well.
