My friend Corey Cook was home for leave before he got his orders. I don't know the whole story but from what I know a couple drunk guys shot him. Cory was flown out to a bigger hospital and is in very critical condition. Him and his family need as many prayers as possible please. I will let you know more when I know more.

Corey passed away this evening. The ones responsible are now facing the consequences.
Corey was 22 years old. He came from a small town of around 1,500 people that were all very proud of him. He graduated high school in 2007 of a class of around 40 kids, so they were all very close.
Corey had just recently graduated from the Air Force special ops with honors. He was home for a short leave when this tragedy happened.
Please pray for his family. Thank you all!

So senseless and it angers me... But that is God's realm for justice, not ours.
Prayers for the family in this time of transition and for the small town who would also be heavily impacted. May that know God's peace that passes understanding...
Prayers for the perps to come to their knees and ask God's forgiveness for their deed(s).
Bullies come in all sizes and shapes and dole out their punishment in many ways.
May God have mercy on their souls...

I will pray for this family and this loss of a loved one. While I agree with Doc on the need to allow God to bring justice on these who have taken this young fellow from us. I am angry and I am hurt and I want blood for this young man's death. Father you know my heart hurts for this young man's family and what they have to go thru for the lack of caring from these people. Father I cry out for justice and I want it to be server and with the same unconcern for them as they have showed for this young man and his family. Yet I know your ways are above our ways and your love transends what you eyes see to see the heart and the need of those involved. Father I ask that your stand with this family and their needs and that you bring comfort that only you can bring. Lord help me to see as you see. Father it is in your Holy name that I ask this and it is in your Holy name that I ask for forgiveness for my thoughts as they don'r aline with your ways and will. Please continue to work on me to mold me as your see fit. Amen.......Dusty

A terrible and senseless loss of a soldier. I cannot imagine the grief the family and friends must feel over losing Corey. I pray for the comfort and peace for the ones he leaves behind. Godspeed Corey.

This hurts bad...I Thank Corey for his service to our country and this tears me up knowing someone in our home land would do such a senseless act..May God be with his family through this most difficult time...Rest well Corey! God Bless and heal the broken hearts in his family and friends...

I feel sick. This man put his life on the line Serving our Country and he is home enjoying his time off and this happens. It is totally senseless. I will Pray for Corey's family. May Corey Rest in Peace and his family find Peace through the Grace of God.
