I don't get on this forum as often as I should. But the older I get the more important I remember it is.
A horrible accident struck my family today. Two of my Uncles raise game animals. Elk, Red Deer, Fallow, Axis and such. I don't condone fence hunting nor do I participate in it. But ones opinions don't mean a thing after what happened.
Apparently my cousins small dog got into one of the Axis deer enclosures for whatever reason and my cousin went to retrieve him. Moments later the Axis deer attacked her. My uncle apparently witnessed the event and ran to assist her but it was too late. She was gone before any emergency crew arrived.
This happened just hours ago and I am still in shock. I keep thinking they will call and say she was just injured badly. She was only 30 years old and has a husband and 3 children.
Please keep the family in your prayers. Thats all my uncle can ask anyone for right now. Can't even wrap my head around this yet...

How awful! I am so sorry that such a tragedy has struck so many all at once. Please accept my sincere condolences and prayers for all of your relatives, especially her children. Some things we never get our heads around, we just muddle our way toward acceptance of God's will. May He hold your cousin in his loving hands. May we all hold our families more dear.

Will,
As always, Killy's words touch the core of a situation and touch all the right spots.
prayers abound for all involved to find promised peace that passes understanding.
Such things seem so senseless and we seek meaning or understanding from things with no explanation.
May you and your family find strength to reach out now and for a long time to come. There are no quick fixes to such things.
Keep the Son in your eyes!

Thank you all. I was with the family tonight. It turns out that my other cousin's ( the victims sister) daughter witnessed the whole event and called authorities. I could continue with particulars but the end result remains the same anyway. A sudden end to a young and care free life and beloved friend/family member. My family has always held very close and this definitely hits home. The shock is wearing off and it is getting hard to accept now.
I miss you Natalie and I know your smile is lighting up heaven like it would light up a room here on earth.
