Hi Gang,
I would like to ask for your help! This weekend I hope to participate in the Dutch 3D Championship. As some of you might know, I suffer from MS. Recently I crawled out of a deep, dark, lonesome hole again and tried to get the condition I need for a two days shoot on a difficult and hard course. I worked very hard for this one in the short time that was given to me and trained my pants of.
I tried to participate twice, but I was too ill to shoot it. This year it looks like I am finally going to make it. I don't need to win, being there and being able to shoot it, will be my greatest victory.
Now I figured out, that if my sisters and brothers of the bow will think of me the next two days and send some good vibes, I will feel the energy and nothing can't go wrong.
So please support this crazy old Dutchman who does not know the meaning of "giving up".
My setup?
A 45 lbs Caribow Peregrine
6 strands SBD string
My self-made sitka woodies, 9.5 GPP, 10% FOC
I will tell you all how I did and probably will post some pics afterwards, that's a promise :) .

With that attitude and that equipment, how can you go wrong. You're in my thoughts.

May your arrows fly true and your health stay well!!!!!!

:archer: GO GET EM!!!

good luck to you brother, I understand where your coming from. my wife has had the same dreaded disease(ms) for the last 29 years and it sucks for sure. you sound about as determined as she has been for the last 29 years and it has been my experience that love and laughter will get you through anything.again good luck and i will be watching for you next post. also, if you are ever interested in a southern wisconsin whitetail hunt just pm me. we have a room for you (bring the wife if you want) we will feed you, set you up in a treestand or ground blind just off our back yard and just generally show you one hell of a good time. so if you can get here you got a whitetail hunt any time in the future.(including this year). It would bring joy to my heart to be able to do this for you.

My hats off to you sir, shoot straight and true. I dont know if I would have the drive to do what you are doing but I think I would. Above all else have fun.
-
To hell with giving up!
Have a good shoot.
-
Go get 'em!!!
My Mom has MS. I told her about you shooting and he said to tell you she's pulling for your "happy and exciting shoot!"
-
Prayers sent for you Brother. You're in good hands.
-
Sending up a load of mojo into the stratosphere. It'll hover there until the morning and infuse your muscles just as the shoot is starting.
-
Get some bro!!!
-
Go for it and enjoy yourself!
-
Looks like you've got a solid cheering section behind you, even if a bit LDistance in some cases.
I will keep you in thought and prayer to have a solid & enjoyable outing... only thing I might suggest, since you said that you "trained your pants off" is to please find a good set of pants to wear...
It's just the "right thing to do!" :readit: :knothead:
You're going to do well and have a great memory to share...take pics!
