I ask for your prayers for my Daughter and her child.
My Daughter gave birth to my 3rd Grandchild. A boy named Rchard Scott Boggs.
Sadly the baby only lived two hours before passing on to our Lord in Heaven.
Feeling hopeless and feeling like I had to do something during this time, my emotions ran and my mind raced as I jotted down this poem.
In loving memory of;
RICHARD SCOTT BOGGS, aka "Little Weed"
"THE GIFT"
In this millennium
On a 13th day
Of the 13th year
At around the 13th hour,,, there was a true miracle!
A Mother and a Baby gave each other a gift so dear
A love,,, although not discussed together
This love was understood so very, very clear.
As the rain fell in the wind of a storm
A special bond between those two was securely formed
Their love was deep
The bond was strong,,,
Though their time together was not that long...
With a crash of thunder the time had come
to part their ways on this earth and under this sun...
Their love so special and forever intact
That the Mother never forgets the gift and that little fact
With the Baby in Heaven and Mother here on Earth
Their love continues from that first day of birth...
A love that was formed between Heaven and earth
A love so eternal
A love so strong
Their bond unbroken, it won't be long
Mother and baby will unite again
up in Heaven both born again........

Such a short life here on earth and not sure what to say but I'm sorry his life was just a few short hours.... That is a very nice poem you put together in his memory and it hurts us all to see any child taken Home so quickly....I really liked the end of that poem ... "Born Again"!
