Those of you who have shot at Standing Stone more than likely know Brett. He spearheads the Trad shoot over at Standing Stone.
Brett just found out that he has a growth in his brain that needs to be removed. Top surgeons at Geisinger in Danville will be handling the operation.
Please keep Brett in your prayers for a successful surgery and a quick, healthy recovery. Brett is a hard working young guy that always strives to put a good shoot on over at the Stone.
Thanks,
Craig

Indeed, I have come to know Brett and his family and have wondered why he'd been somewhat silent via emails and such thru this relocation of mine. Here he's been battling something of epic proportions.
Thanks for sharing, Craig!
Brett, his mother, father, wife and 2 young children are some of the best people I've had the pleasure to know.
for this to befall Brett and his troops, is devastating being so far away to not lend more of a hand... I hope friends and the club rally around!
Given that Brett's wife had a great state job, Brett found that in their rural area with few jobs, that it paid them manifold to be the home caregiver to the 2 young ones, one just an infant last year. This will be especially hard, but knowing that whole family, all will bind together to keep things moving forward.
Prayers will be lifted up for Brett to successfully come thru this ordeal, and that God's healing touch be on this father of a young family.
If/as you learn any updates, Craig, please post!

I talked to Brett yesterday on the phone. The operation is scheduled for the 24th of this month. The doctors said it does not appear to be cancerous, a little smaller than a golf ball, and in and around the left optical nerve.
Brett is feeling fine otherwise. This was discovered through a seizure that he had recently. So prayers up for some rock solid, steady hands on the doctors part come the 24th. Brett said that the doctors said about 6 months recovery.
Any of you guys that know Brett and have his phn #, give him a call when you have time. I know he appreciates hearing from us and it will help him get through this a little easier. Thanks guys.
Good Shooting,
Craig
