trad gangers
i have recently switched to an elevated rest and it has vastly improved my ability to properly tune arrows. any thoughts on  what  the best, or most common rest used on trad gear is?

Basic flipper rest, or Bear weatherest are common and very inexpensive. Both will yield good results.

Bear weather rest is great. I take mole hair and lay over the whole rest and finger that sticks out. Makes the rest real quiet and it lasts forever. I also trim the bottom of the plate on the rest and a touch off the bottom of the finger.

I prefer the Hoyt Super-Rest. It seems to be "smoother" than the Bear Weather-Rest.

I like the Hoyt Super-Rest also.    Inexpensive-@$1.25, fairly durable, and really dosen't raise your arrow that much above the shelf( < 1/4").
