Title: Sad Day in America
Post by: White hair on June 27, 2015, 12:12:00 PM
We need to be praying for the truth to come to the for front. Not the lies people want to believe. I am hurt and grieved over our/my country. Not what God intended. Not for marriage.
Afraid for my grandchildren for what they will face. Come Lord Jesus.

Heard and agreed, but to avoid political overtones, we'll let those mis-guided judges to their own opinion and realize America has had a great ride but we threw God outa school, government and town square...

What do we expect?

It's is certainly not the (un)supreme court that speaks for the American people that believe in the foundation this country was based on. Come to think of it I can't remember the last time they did anything worth while and I'm 57 Yrs old. Now their conscience are so seared there exists no right from wrong and Godly from ungodly. They are so open minded their brains fell out. No apology here for my view on the degradation of our country. I believe the only thing holding this country together are the petitions of God's Faithful prayer warriors. 2 Corinthians 10 3-5    Denny

Denny, I hope you're right about the glue holding what's left of this once great country together...

As for the political avoidance comment I made, this and all other sites, ask us to avoid political commentary, but it's hard to be open about prayer needs in today's world without getting political...since the Dark Forces seem to be driving the bus...

I look at what is happening all over the world and now with this decision and the recent one in Ireland and all the war and strife, I have to wonder if the Lord may come soon. God is what this country was founded on and is why it has been a great country, now with this I fear God may turn his back on the country and it may very well crumble.

I can't be PC Dave, country's in the crapper and Obama's got his hand on the handle!  For a supposedly bi-partisan institution like SCOTUS, whose only function is to interpret law, not create them, you'd think that most of their rulings would be 9-0 or 8-1 "slam dunks"....yeah, right! The institution of marriage was ordained by God, SCOTUS has no say in the matter! We are a vile and unrepentant nation, ripe to be spewed forth from the mouth of God. The Holy Bible tells us we are born into sin and set apart from God, but the unrighteous mock this fundamental truth that is the first step of the path to forgiveness.  The arrogance of wicked leaders condoning abomination as "equal rights" is just the beginning. We think we're so enlightened in the 21st century, but things haven't changed in 2,000 years, our fate will be the same as Sodom and Gomorrah. The USA didn't invent sin either, it's just trying to corner the market on it and has a very short memory!

Hard for me too, Richard...very hard.  What you said here is spiritual, not political, so I hope if remains intact.

Well put and thought thru.

Danny,

the 2nd coming or a dozen decades wandering in the "desert" to think about our choices...? the Graven image of the calf is already being cast of gold as we speak

I don't care much for political correctness, nor for the direction our country seems to be going. With all its faults, I miss the America I grew up in. Even with all that said, the America of today is still better than what is offered anywhere else! Happy 4th of July!

x2

I have a young son at home and I worry about what he will have to face as he gets older. I think the best thing that any parent can do is to make sure that they know and understand biblical truths. And pray, pray and pray.

God Bless

Hope everyone has a Happy and Safe Fourth of July.

Gilbert

We lived through biblical support of slavery and the sins of divorce and women no longer being property. I pray we get through this too.
