I developed a head shake several months ago. I had a brain scan, and a few small spots showed up that the neurologist said was nothing to worry about. As it turns out I remember my mother had a similar shaking of the head, and can be inherited. I am currently on primidone which I don't really want to take. I have researched this problem, and it sounds like a lot of folks take a natural medicine called tremadone with what sounds like very good results. So I am wondering if anyone has had this problem and have tried or is taking tremadone? This sounds like the better way to go rather than take the drug. So far this has not affected my hunting or shooting, but would like to get it under control. ThankYou in advance for any helpful info I can get.

Praying for your answer

ThankYou Galen, I know we will get an answer.....

No help here on natural stuff... but will offer prayers for insight and discernment.

I can't guarantee anything, but when I developed a tremor in my hands, I started taking large doses of Vitamin B. Within a few days, the tremors stopped. A complete B Vitamin supplement is pretty cheap and readily available. It's worth the $10 or so it would cost. Try taking two in the morning and two in the evening for a week or so and see what happens. Hope it helps.

ThankYou so much for the info, I will definitely give it a try. I am also sending you a pm.......

I'm sending prayers now for the shaking to stop .
I know it can be nerve racking as I knew a lady and a good friend that has it and even though they are/were used to it I know they both wished it would cease.
Hang in there maybe you can try Vitamin to help and take care of it but till then I'm praying.

The good part is I do not have the shaking all the time, but most always when I drive. I know it could be a lot worse, so I am thankful for that. I am going to try the vitamin B1. Thank you Keith for your kindness and prayers.

Be careful with vitamins...ONE b vitamin in excess can block other essential B vitamin absorption...better to take a B Complex...FWIW...or so my sources tell me

Thanks Doc, I got a B Complex today.
