Last Saturday I went to the company party and had a great time. That evening we had dinner with some friends, and I began having sharp pain in my chest and gut area. I was afraid I was having a heart attack, so my wife hustled me to the ER. It turns out they needed to do emergency surgery to remove my gall bladder. All went well, and I returned home yesterday. I am a little sore and a bit weak but have had no problems. I was truly relieved that it was not heart related and feel that I have been truly blessed.

Welcome home... buddy's wife had that, when they opened her gall bladder it looked like a pomegranate, so full of those li'l black "seeds".
They said when ONE of those blocks a bile duct, it's super painful... so I cannot imagine what you must have gone thru!
I'd too say you were blessed it was something relatively simple!
Thank you, Lord!

Glad you're well. Gall bladder attacks hurt!

Went through that myself a year and a half ago.
Once that gall bladder is done, it's done. I had pizza with the kids and about 30 mins later felt like I was dying.
Turns out the Gall Bladder is one of our 'you can afford to lose it' organs. Amazing design, this human body. Almost as if it were designed....intelligently. ;-)
Glad you're better. You wont' miss it!
God Bless,
Jack

Glad you are better Sam. Happy for you that it wasn't your heart.
