Don't take this the wrong way. Just wondering about oportunities outside of fenced ranches. Has anyone hunted Tanzania,Botswana or Zambia with a bow. I have been there and done the South Africa thing, just not for me would not repeat it. I have hunted Zim twice but will wait for the country to improve before I head back there.
Thanks

I lived in a small country called Swaziland next to mozambique and South Africa for 4 years, its a nice country, i never hunted there but you might try Nisela Safaris on google.com scearh
Be prepared for wet wether in winter but nice weather in summer 80-90 F. Very mountanous with lots of trees but also very flat in the low veld. I went to Nisela once for a camping trip, they were very nice and helpful.
Hope this Helps :) :) :wavey: :wavey: :)

I have hunted totally free-ranging game in Zimbabwe and Zambia. As you know, Zim is a mess right now. Zambia is "Old Africa", at least for the most part, and has the advantage of allowing bowhunting for dangerous game. There are still a lot of details to work out, but I will be heading back there this July to do some more investigating. It's a bit more expensive, but not prohibitively so. Bowhunting in east Africa is very liimited and very expesnive. Don

Don,
Who are you hunting with in Zambia? I have been meaning to call Duncal Paul since Zambia was re opened and ask him what is happening in terms of good bow hunting. I would like to know how you make out.
