Denny,
Thanks for all the help in my decision making process. I am booking with Ombengu for mid July. It's been fun talking to folks like you and Dave Samuels in preparation for the hunt. My biggest problem now is going to be living with myself until July. I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas. To make matters worse, I am waiting on a new 80# longbow and some new #70 pound limbs for my widow. If you have an extra copy of your video footage to help me pass the time please send it along. I'm sure I will talk to you soon as I try to get all the logistics worked out. Thanks again, Brady

My pleasure Brady! You guys are going to have a great time. Call me anytime if I can help. Make sure to E-mail Mushie and Jo. I think it adds to the experience. The trophy quality is outstanding. Denny

Hey Denny, I've just bought a Black Widow LAG that your father use to own! How about that! I email him and tod him his old longbow is heading downunder. Small world isn't it?
Regards from oZ Alan... :wavey: ...

Hey Alan, I hope my father's son gets to head downunder too. Good luck with the new bow.

Thanks again Denny. I am sure that I will be bothering you with plenty of questions before the big trip. Brady

Brady, I just had a birthday a week ago, and my wife told me she would send me hunting any place I would like. I'm still thinking, but I did talk to Shannon. She told me that there is plenty of time to plan for a July, 2005 hunt. In your planning, who else did you consider? What were the deciding factors for you in settling on Ombengu? Since I told my wife that she would have to take me, Ombengu seems to be accomidating to non-hunters. They also seem to have plenty of Kudu and Oryx that would top my list of hopefuls.

Ham,
Brady and I are hunting together.
Basically for us it came down to Ha-nore or ombengu and because of scheduling and some strong recommendations we picked ombengu.
Good Luck
