Diekie Muller Hunting Safari's of South Africa?
This guy hunts the Limpopo Province of South Africa, bordering Botswana to the west Zimbabwe to the north and Mozamique to the east.
Anyone heard of the operation?

I haven't heard of him. I haven't checked trophy fees lately but his are a lot higher than what I paid in 2005. The last time I looked at trophy fees on several sites they had all gone up but it has been about a year since I researched them. If you are looking at going with him I would get a list of references and talk to a lot of them. I would also check the trophy fees on multiple sites as well to see what the range is. Another thing to remember is to find out if when you put down your deposit if that locks in your trophy fees at that years rate. I know in the past Vissers used to charge trophy fees at the rate of the year you made your booking deposit/schedule. Several years after I was there though they changed that policy to you were going to be paying the current rate at the time of your hunt. That change in policy was appearently not communicated very well and there were some upset people who felt that the rules had been changed half way through the game. Always ask in advance and clarify everything. Bowhunting Safari Consultants is also a very good service to work with and it doesn't cost you any more than direct booking yourself. Joseph

Thank you for your insights sir. Well thought out comments right there.
I am not so much looking to book myself but inquiring as to the quality of this service. I was hoping perhaps a Trad Gangster had previously booked through this guide and could report on the conditions of camp and the hunt. The North American marketing rep for this guide service has been quite generous with my Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation chapter in donating the hunt fees for our chapter fund raising banquet auction.
Thanks again Joseph for your response.
