I got an e-mail from my friend who is on his first hunt whit a recurve bow, and what a start to his traditional hunting career. Got to 25m and placed the arrow perfectly in the heart of this lion. He is hunting whit Hamish Skead at Lowlands Hunting Safaris. (http://i658.photobucket.com/albums/uu305/storm5/Lvejakt-1.jpg)

Its a Schafer Silvertip 84lbs at 30" draw, Easton dangerus game, Nanook Single Bevel Broadheads. Total arrow weight was 1000grs.

Very impressive. All it takes is knowing in your own mind you CAN do it. If there is any doubt...you had better stick with bunnies.
I would love to hear the details.

I am always pretty cool under pressure of shooting a deer but with that thing in front of me I am not sure what I would do (not sure I want to find out either).

WOW!!!!!!! My hat is off to you. One must be confident in his/her gear to take on a beast like that!!!
