Title: videoing your african hunt.
Post by: instinctivebowman on January 26, 2012, 08:47:00 PM
i have video collected from a couple of african hunts, I have not had the pleasure of going there myself, but i have had some good hunts(and video) on this continent. long story short, i am puting together a video(slowly) and i am interested in sending my camera equipment with someone this year. documenting some real trad oriented adventures, and showing the effectiveness of well tuned arrows, arrow flight,  and good shot placement are the hallmarks of this video.  i have enuogh video now to make a pretty good trad presentation. But i would like to have a little better selection of video. Anyway, if your interested in talking to us pm me and i can get some of our private footage to you and show you where were coming from and how we are making this movie. We would like to send the equipment with a group of trad hunters. that way everyone goes hunting and the first person to get done with there hunt videos the other guys. Thats how we usually do it. Video always comes second for us, if we get the video fine, if not thats fine also.

Even if we dont end up doing anything with the footage, we will still make a personal movie for you of your hunt.

We can send a video checklist/guide. This can help you on shot setup, cut outs etc. Its low key have fun type stuff.
let me know if this sounds like something you would be interested in

good luck on your hunt

That's a pretty good offer.  I'm still deciding if I'm going this year or not but someone should take you up on this.

Jeremy, I have hunted over there three times.  We have alot of good footage.  Rob Burnham was a dedicated camera man on a very successful trip to Namibia and has a ton.  Let me know if I can help.
