Blade forged by Helm Forge from a 3/4 inch round bar of 5160. Properly heat treated with differincial hardening for utmost strength and edge performance. This high carbon steel takes and holds a scary sharp edge. I have hand stone finished and blued it. Spine is 3/16 " thick, 6 1/2" blade, 11 1/4" overall length.
For the handle scales I used Osage Orange. Pinned 3 places with 3/16 inch copper and has a 1/4 inch copper lined wrist thong hole.
The sheath is vegtan leather that I have textured and "aged". It has a full welt that is glued, riveted and sewn. Six copper lined holes allow for many types of carry on person or by attaching to a pouch or quiver. Intregal strap and Sam Browne stud provide a very secure carry with quite and quick deployment.
