Seems like it rained the entire time I worked on this one, finally some relief from the drought.
5 inch differincial hardened 5160, 1/4 inch thick spine. 10 1/2 inches overall. Mortised into some quartersawn osage with a textured brass bladeguard and pinned ebony cap. 2 copper pins through bronze flange bushings.
A very good balance, heavy enough to be batoned yet still a functional skinner / bushcrafter. This steel takes and hold a scary sharp edge.
