Title: Jagdterrier
Post by: Missouri Sherpa on November 24, 2013, 09:42:00 PM
If you are looking for a blood trailing dog that can coon hunt or bay hogs we may have what you are looking for.  We have a litter of Jagdterrier pups born today.   The parents of these dogs, Xena X Vader, first generation Serbian Import bloodline dogs, are both in our kennel. They are gritty hunting dogs with no reverse gear when dealing with a varmit.  They have a great nose for blood trail work though using them just for blood trailing would be an underutilization of their breeding.  They should be ready by January 20.  Located in Ankeny Iowa.  $500.  Send a PM to contact.

Wont find a grittier dog anywhere.

Mom is Mule Creek's Xenia  Serbian import parents Zeus x Gvena  bred by Chris Phillips in North Carolina.  Larger size, insane prey drive, rough curly coat.

Dad is Dirthawker's Vader.  Vader is out of Richard McCorkle's dog "Laser" Cumberland Pack European import breeding.  Broken rough coat.  He is a smaller type, only about 17 pounds but very hard on a coon.  He killed a 40 pound boar coon in a leghold trap this fall.  No back up in this one.  Have not had him on hogs yet, but plan to be taking him to Texas for our Hog season in January.

John,
If I didn't have my two wirehaired Dachshunds, I'd be having a new pup  :)   That looks like a great breeding...Jeff
