All SBD High Performance strings are now made with the BCY Force-10 (formerly BCY D-10) material which is 100% SK78 Dyneema and is quieter, has less creep and is 20% stronger than SK75(DynaFLIGHT 97).

Our goal in string making is to achieve the "quietest string" with the least amount of stretch and the best performance for hunting that we could craft. We have found through years of chronographing and testing different bows and strings combinations that our "NEW" 6 strand "Ultra" High Performance strings(for bows 50# or less) made with BCY Force-10 material and our High Performance 8-10 strand made with BCY Force-10 material with B-50 taper padded loops, for most bows, achieved the best results in reaching our goal.
Our 2 bundle strings (skinny strings) employ a technique learned from a master string maker which form a perfectly round string that helps dampen string noise and vibrations. The strand count will vary according to poundage or customer request.
Our "Ultra" High Performance 6 strand strings are made with BCY Force-10 for less creep and even quieter performance (for bows50#s or less) and our 8-10 strand High Performance strings are made with BCY Force-10 with B-50 padding in the tapered loops.
We have experimented with various serving materials and found Brownells Crown or BCY 62XS serving to provide the best release in all weather conditions. The strings are served to fit Bohning Signature, Carbon Express, Gold Tip nocks and can be adjusted to fit larger groove nocks and will come with a brass string nock if you request . We pre-stretch the strings while serving so they will require little break in to maintain brace height.
BCY Force-10 colors that we have in stock currently are purple,flo orange, tan, green,Flo green, yellow, flo yellow, red, pink, white and black. The Psycho hunter is a 4 color string and looks well…..psychedelic. The serving will be black 62XS serving by BCY.
