Guess not.

Well, I'm going to try it this season. If it works well, chould be some interesting "eye of the archer" video.

Lipstick cam is a Sony 1/3" CCD, fits into a headband I can park next to me shootin' eye.
Wire down the back goes to the dv camcorder with a remote start/stop.

Just got all the stuff, putting it together to film target shots and groups, see what works.

Wayne, I see you're a lawyer so no wonder no one wants to talk to you.  I'm a stockbroker, however and familiar with the sentiment.  So let's talk to each other about these cams.  I'm a groundhunter myself and blissfully ignorant about "lipstick" cams but would like to learn.  Lord how I'd love to show you a vid of the last hog I shot...Magnificent!   I am Hal HOGTAMER Rowland near Augusta, Ga.  Native Texan though, born in Ft. Worth.

I just checked out their website. That looks really cool! I hope you plan on posting some videos here when you get some, I would really like to see how they look.

You think it's because I'm a lawyer? I thought it was the Wesley, scared people off.

Good to hear from you. The lipstck cam, I got on eBay, Not sure of the website. It is a "PRO HUNTCAM VIEW CAM 520 TVLine VIDEO CAMERA RECORDING  Item number: 7239920288" on eBay. They seel these all the time - around $180.

Anyway, it hooks into your camcorder via the video in, so your recorder has to be able to record from a TV or VCR, or other camcorder. This lipstick cam them bypasses your camcorder's lens and CCD.

Very sturdy, for action and helmet mounting.

I'm still playing with it, to get it aligned while shooting. The headstrap lets me put it next to my shootin' eye. It Sees very nearly what my Shootin' eye sees, like the arrow streaking gracefully over the deer.

I should have some demo target shots soon. but, I have to figure out how to get the video into my laptop.

You really think traditional bowhunters would hold the lawyer thing against a guy? Now, a stockbroker, I understand.

By the time the hand shock from that Wesley starts rattling your teeth I don't know how much arrow flight we'll be able to see!  But with a bow that long on the ground I'd just stick me a sharp point on the upper limb and spear 'em!  This year I'll be toting a Dale Dye, 58" and 58 lbs @ my draw length.  Ditto on the woodies, though.  POC, 67 - 68 lb spine, 29" tipped with a big ole Snuffer.  Good luck and keep me posted.  I'd really like to record some of my own misses for posterity.  Hal
