Well some got to test drive Jason's three piece takedown prototypes last summer. He now has the design perfected and is ready to roll it out.
Technically this is not a Dryad Bow as it contains (gulp) fiberglass. LOL But it is a dandy and very quick.
The three piece TD longbow is offered in 58, 60, and 62 inches. Limbs are black glass with a Tonkin bamboo core and the riser can be any exotic wood we have available.
Check out the pics and let us know what you think.

BTW the way this bow as shown is only $550 plus shipping.
He has already taken a couple of orders via word of mouth so if you want one in short order give us a call.

Y'all have been busy! Now I know why my blank is not here yet! LOL!!
No problem....I'm hunting next week and no time for scraping yet anyway. Now that y'all have succumbed to FG is carbon far behind?
Great lines on the new riser-beautiful bow, all the best with your new products.

-
I think you guys are fixin to get covered up. Very nice looking bow.

Oh Mike, man you're killing me. The wife said maybe one but not both right now. This is to put you on notice I'm ordering one just as soon as we get past uncle sam and the IRS!!! But man which one first?? Love that take down, but would love to finish one of the blanks as well. OH well I've got time to decide. As usual great work and very beautiful bows.

Dryads are tree nymphs in Greek mythology. In Greek drys signifies 'oak,' from an Indo-European root *derew(o)- 'tree' or 'wood'.
In other words they are the spirit of the tree.

I thought I'd better clear things up. I've received a few concerned emails. We are not switching to glass!! Jason is bringing out a second line of bows to raise some extra money to finance his wedding and honeymoon.
We are going to make the "all natural" bows as long as we can find a customer and in fact have a new bow in development that should be out by the show season.

Good job fellas! Hope it goes well for you!

not a Dryad???? looks like one to me!!!
they are very elegant looking, well done.
I'll be in the market sometime for a TD longbow, I'll have to keep you in mind.

BD,
Well it's a Dryad alright. Just going to be a different line of bows then the "all natural" bows we specialize in. We have had good feedback on the 3 pc and Jason has orders to keep him busy for a few weeks. I tell you if you are looking for a TD longbow and want glass (gulp), this is a great bow for a very good price.
