Title: Compact digi Camera wanted

OK guys and gals.....  I have put this off for too long.  I need a digital camera that is easy to carry and takes a good picture in the woods.  I have been looking at the digi elph from Cannon only because my wife has a film bases Advanitx Elph.

I wan this to be a slim carry, with as much lense as I can get and IS function.

What's out there fo a guy who is not a camera buff for $400. or less

Check out the Cannon elph SD800IS, it retails for $399.99 but is an excellent camera. Also the Panasonic FX01 and FX07 are very good as well. All of these are slim and have the image stabilization. Also keep in mind that you will need to buy a memory card.
