I was wondering if someone could give me an idea of
the value of a Pentax K-1000 camera with a 50 mm
Pentax lens and a Tamron AF75-300mm F/4-5.6 lens.
The outfit is in excellent condition.I am going to sell it to put some money towards a digital.I know the 35mm fanclub is a dwindling lot,any ideas
where I could put this up for sale?
Thanks,
Craig

I have a pentax spotmatic which is similar to the K-1000. I bought mine at an Army PX in Germany in 1968. On fleabay a spotmatic in working order might sell for $30 to $60 with extra lenses. Kinda' depressing considering how good a camera they were.

good luck I couldn't give my olympus Om 10 away, even with 135 telephoto and 2x converter.
I decided to keep mine as backup in case the computer world disappears lol

Maybe I will just stick with "Doing it the Hard Way"
Thanks guys,

K-1000 best damn film camera ever made. First 35mm I ever owned and still think it out shoots my Nikon D200

Worth probably about $35. The K1000 was the budget Pentax.
