Post by: Mack Marine on February 07, 2010, 08:18:00 PM
I got a Samsung Digimax A7 7.0 Mega Pixels. What setting do I need for close up pictures. Each time they come out a blurry? Thanks in advance...

Your camera has a macro setting (flower symbol), use that but have adequate support for camera.

I tripod really helps for macro setting. I will keep the pics sharp if the focus is right.

Use your flash, that will help make your pictures sharp, also do not exceed your camera's close focusing distance. Depending on your lens a lot of times 1-3 feet is as close as you are going to get. Also use your longest zoom setting and practice to see how close you can get withour loosing focus.

A flash will result in sharp pictures, because the flash is the shutter and freezes the subject.
A tripod is essential, if you want sharpness in natural light/ or without flash.
