Thought I'd post a few of the pictures I took from my recent trip to Texas. I really like the SX200IS, although it has some more advanced features that I really need to work out to optimize my photos. I don't mess with the Aperature settings, or ISO etc; usually set it up in portrait or landscape mode for general use. I do like the color accent setting to fool around with, and the Macro/Super Macro ability. I was hoping to get video on this trip using the HD movie mode so I was taking most of the pictures in less than FINE pixel settings. I think it was S2 (for up to 8x11 photos).

A nice thing about digitals is that pixels are free, and you can experiment. It is amazing how far these cameras have come in the last few years. The more you fiddle around with them, the more things you find they are capable of. The color accent mode is really cool, and you wouldn't be doing something like that with a film camera.
