Post by: Weekend Warrior on January 07, 2008, 09:21:00 PM
I thought I would give another one a try..
For some reason I had trouble getting arrows out?
Hope I can get use to this one?

You might have a problem getting the arrows out because the bottom is to narrow, and if the leather is to soft (it looks really soft on that one) the broadheads might catch on the way out.

If you look at old style back quivers they have the top edge, facing away from the shooter, cut lower. This is to allow the tip of the arrow to slide out of the quiver easier. I have had the same experience as you. I purchased as old quiver and will be using it as a pattern for my next quiver.

Weekend Warrior

That is a great looking quiver! Did you work from a pattern or is this your own design?

Snag

Can you post a picture of the kind of quiver that you are talking about or post a link that will take me to one. I need a visual aid. Thanks.
