Sorry for the truck bed photo, hopefully the lucky hunter will post some field photos soon.
The question is who is the lucky hunter?? ;)
Hint: He's a sponsor

Probably Bob Morrison..he usually misses a few like that every year (just kidding Bob.)

He,he,he,he,heh,heh,heh,heh,heh,ha,ha,ha,ha,ho,ho and HA!
Congratualtions Bobby...you are living proof that all the skill in the world does not equal a good big dose of LUCK!
Too Short (The guy you named your newest bow after!)
-
Nice Elk!
-
Awesome buck!
-
I just knew Greg was going to put his picture in the spot. Best buck of my life, my grandson was with me in a Double Bull Matrix and witnessed the whole thing and was excited as I was. This was the 1st kill for the new 52" Cheyenne limb AKA: The TOO SHORT...
I'm still about 10 feet of the ground with my head in the clouds.........Life is good.
Bob
-
Congrats Bob...Love the character and mass of that thing. Who's gonna score it for ya?
Were you out behind the house? Your grandson has to be getting big now.

Dandy buck Bob...congrats.
-
Mickey, I'll be taking it to Bill Myer, Bill has done all of my deer heads. I shot it on a farm within a mile of my house, A place I've hunted forever, deer actually came to rest on property I owned at one time. Grandson is 11 now. Yesterday was the 1st day he was able to go with me, we had a smaller 8 pt I wouldn't shoot and it never presented a shot for him. He is already talking about next week end, what more could a grandpa ask for??????????????
-
Way to go Bob!!!!!!! Great deer, and sounds like you have a good hunting buddy!
-
Nice one Bob,I've been lookin for one like that forever!
-
Bob, Great buck and to have the next generation hunter with you...very, very special...Doc
-
Doc, This was very very special, I hope everyone gets a chance to experiance this. it put a big lump in my throat. I know this can never happen to me again......... I was with Chandler went he took his 1st 2 years ago (9 yrs old) and he was with me to take this special buck my 1st deer with him with me.
very very special.
-
You could have taken a doe and it would have been special. Good on you Bob for taking the boy. Only way our passion will survive.
-
I thought that was a Moose! One guy says it's a buck, another says, "Nice Elk". Then my wife took a look and said, "You idiot, that's a mouse...or did she say Moose?"
I'm confused. My grandson says I have "Issues". Do you think he's right? Bob...Do you think I have "issues"? Dang...when I grow up, Bobby, I want to be just like you, only a whole lot shorter and WAAAAYYYYY better looking!
Your wee buddy after whom you named the new bow...Too Short
-
Bob
You are the man, great buck, but you are not the man for shooting him you are the man for including your grandson. You are a class act, You deserve your continued success:-)
Dale and Ruth from KY
-
BOb
I went back and saw this was on the ground...Man give us details thats even more awesome!!
-
Paul, Karen had to say moose, I know she knows the difference, a mouse is smaller and don't have antlers. Your grandson is probabily right, Mine is. I'll have to give you the shorter, But better looking ? you know I have been compared to Brad Pitt.........
-
Congrats Bob! :notworthy:
-
Dalebow, You are right. A blind man could have made the shot I pulled off. Having the kid there with me made it very very special. There is a lot of luck in getting a buck like this, 30 yrds and he walks by. getting the right position??? priceless.
-
Absolutely fantastic !!!
Congrats and I hope you get a chance to top the experience some day.
Pat B.

-
Bob: really great buck, but as you said a really great experience to save.....
-
I'm having a little trouble getting to work today, shop only has 8 foot ceilings and I'm still 10 foot off the ground. I have no idea what it will score. It does have 7.25" bases, 16" inside spread, 20.5" outside and a 6" drop.
I think I'll have it mounted :bigsmyl:
-
Holy Crap!!!!! Did you rake the steroids out of his mouth before shoving him in the back of the truck?? That's a damn sure good one right there! Congrats Bob!!!!! CK
-
Holy Smokes!!!!!! Way to go, Bob!
Claudia

"I have no idea what it will score. It does have 7.25" bases, 16" inside spread, 20.5" outside and a 6" drop."
Had yourgrandson there with ya....score = PRICELESS Congrads thats a mighty fine buck and an even better memory
-
I know we're all traditionalists here and a doe is as fine a trophy as any buck... And it's the WAY we hunt, not the OUTCOME that truly matters... But HOLY CRAP is that hog beeyooteeful!!! Bob, there's no way I could have that buck mounted -- I'd carry it everywhere, day and night, just to look at it and feel the weight of all that bone. I'm sure it'll look GREAT hanging in your grandson's bedroom, though!!! :D  :notworthy:
-
Damn, i cant stop looking at that thing....did you know he was around, or was there local chatter of a beast roaming the area? dont name that new bow too short(makes me think of a pygmee in need of rogaine)...name it TOO DEADLY!
-
One word - WOW!
Nice job Bob - Any more to the story?
Mike
-
hey bob, just to let you know I'm on a very short list for grandson adoption, would ya mind? :notworthy:
-
Bob you told me it was a big one....but dang son...when are you going to quit hunting near that nuclear power plant? Them genetic mutant monsters are a bit rough on the draggin ain't they?
Glad you didn't get scared when he walked by....and glad you had such a fine companion to share it with. Good on ya Bob, couldn't have happened to a finer feller I say.

-
Way to go! That is a bruiser! WOW! :notworthy:
-
Sweet deer. Make sure you bring both non-typical heads with you in your bow selling travels. Gotta see them in person.
-
I've been wearing my Morrison hat that you gave out at the T Sweat, but nothing like that has walked by me. Gotta get my sons working on some grandchildren I guess. Nice going Bob.
-
Great buck Bob. May have to git one of those Cheyennes ... my Shawnee hasnt't collected anything like that!!!!! Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
-
I thought it look mighty close to 200. Dang that's a nice deer!

That is an awesome animal. It is even better you get to share it with your grandson. Congratulations.
-
Absolutely awesome! Congratulations, Bob.
-
Congratulations Bob! Awesome deer you got there, and mighty fine fellow you are to share such an event with your grandson. I am sure he will remember that day forever. My grandfather was my hunting mentor, and I still remember just about everyday we spent in the woods together.
James
PS I would like to hear a little more about that 52" bow. If it is anything like the others I have I want one.
-
I got an email from Bob last night and at the end of the story of the hunt he said "There are 16 pts and narrow spread". Afetr reading the email I'm thinking it must be a decent buck with some kickers & trash. Little did I know...
Later when he sends the pictures I said HOLY COW that's a book buck of a lifetime and to share the experience with Chandler must have been awesome.
Couldn't have happened to a nicer man. CONGRATULATIONS again Bob!
-
Nice buck Bob,and having your Grandson with you is priceless.

I bet Your Grandson is even more excited than you are.
