Thanks a lot guys, it's been a season to remember,Antelope in sept, Moose in Oct, and a nice Mule Deer in Nov, it just doesn't get any better than this.
I have been at this game a long time and without a doubt my most succesfull one as far as numbers go.
I shoot a bow of my own "QuarterMoon" making, 53#@28" and was experimenting a bit with the Carbons this year, 4x 5 " fletch and 160 gr Magnus with a 125 gr BH adaptor with a 100 gr brass insert on the front end total arrow weight 650gr.
Absolute perfect arrow flight and total passthroughs on all the critters I shot this year.
Thanks again.
Regards, Bert. :campfire:

What's the bow made of ? It looks good !

Nice one Bert.
Glad to hear you had a great season.
Does this mean we have converted you to carbon arrows , and heavy heads ?
For those guys that don't know Bert, he makes a nice bow or two from time to time. I reviewed his 52" Hornet Flatbow a while back and realy liked it. That review is still on my Trad reviews at www.peteward.com. (http://www.peteward.com.)
Let me know when you come up north again Bert.

Danny, the bowlimbs are Embua the riser is Osage with a couple of Cocobola stripes in it 53#@ 28" tip overlays are Wild Boar hoof.
Very simple "Hill" style design.
Hello Peter,
You know I was always a heavy arrow guy as extreme as 840 grain Birch, :scared: :scared:
but am really liking the small diameter of the Carbons.
