I shot my first TRAD. deer tonight i am still shaking . I cannot walk so i have to hunt from an ATV i had just parked in my favorite spot was throwing my camo cloth over the lights and wheels started getting ready for along wait was putting my camo glove on my bow hand and out she came about 25 yards from me. I froze till she looked away then got my arrow on the bow and waited for my shot ! She gave me a perfect broadside shot at 15 yards watched my luminock hit her to far back and felt sick . When she ran i seen only about 10 inches of arrow showing . I gave it an hour then called my son WHO IS COLOR BLIND to do the main tracking . He found blood at about 20 yards she was bleeding hard i was following on my atv maybe 30yards on the trail i looked ahead and there was my luminock and my button buck the woodsman head went thru him at the edge of the kill area and came out the other side taking out the femel artery . I could have found him myself thanks to the luminock i am sold on them now . If i figure out how to post a picture i will . ITS MIDNIGHT AND I AM STILL PUMPED UP :jumper: :jumper: :jumper: Oh a little addition its been FIVE years of learning how to hunt off that darn ATV four misses and a whole bunch of busted shots!!

Your story is classic! Well done. Last year I was checking some property and a hunter was up in a tree about 200 yards from his truck. About 10 yards from his truck were two nice smallish bucks that looked like a 6 and an 8 early in the season. Vehicles don't seem to bother them if they see a lot of them

This is awesome.
One of my dad's friend was paralyzed at the waste in H.S. He's also an avid hunter. Hunts off a 4-wheeler like you and during gun season usually puts a nice rack on the wall more times than not. I believe he also bowhunts, but it's with a compound.
You're one up on him!
Congratulations!
