Title: Doe with a bow i made

Got a doe this morning with a bow i made. The bow is a LAM bow. Core bamboo with maple LAMS and black fiberglass. 50@27 with a gold tip arrow. Sheonly went 40 yards.

Very nice on both accounts!!  Bet that bow is flat quiet,I'm thinkin bout goin back to a strait longbow.........

Congrats, Steve. Nice job on the bow and doe. I was fortunate enough to take a doe with a recurve I just made so I know the feeling of accomplishment.   :thumbsup:

Way to go Steve.... I shot that Bow at Whittingham in Aug, 2007... it is a nice shooter.

Hey I grew up on staten Island, I dont remember any deer running around.  Actually My mother sends me articles from the advance every once in a while showing me how since I moved to CO. the deer have been mysteriously showing up.  Hey good to see a tradganger in the Big City....

Thanks everybody. It was a real thrill for me. I hunt in New Jersey. The arrow was a gold tip 55/75 with 100 grain brass insert with a Wensel woodsman about 575 grains. Had a complete pass thru. I really like these wensels.
