I will post the pictures in the morning....This is the first full year I have hunted with trad gear. This is my third deer this year, and I have never had as much fun! My wheel bow is going on e*** come Monday cause im done with it!

Nice one - way to make the shot. :-)

Congratulations!
I feel the same way about my compound bow. I started shooting traditional two years ago and I haven’t taken the compound out of its case since.

Shot was almost to low. But it was good enough...... :D I got in the stand about 3:00. About 4:00 the first deer came in it was a spike. I saw nine bucks and two does all together. They were feeding like cows all under my stand. This guy presented me with the best broad side shot. The funny thing is when I shot none of the other deer even spooked. That long bow is so quiet... He did even know he was hit. He walked around with his tail down. Then he turned around about 3 times like he was chasing his tail. All the other deer were looking at him, like whats his problem... :) Then he just fell over and started kicking his legs up in the air. When he did that all the others cleared out. I thought he was done. Wrong... He got back up and walked out of site. I gave him about an hour... Got down, found my arrow. I was a short tracking job he only went another 20 yards...

Way to go. I'll bet the wife is gonna love that driveway stain. LOL.

The bow I used was a 64" 65lb Dwyer long bow. Arrow was a 545 grain Gold Tip traditional, tipped with 160 grain simmons land shark. My wheel bow is going up for sale come Monday. I am going to take the $ and by me another Dwyer. :biglaugh:
