Title: Bamm! Turkey
Post by: Dsturgisjr on April 23, 2009, 06:52:00 PM
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v328/Dsturgisjr/Iturk09.jpg)

After dealing with bad weather, bad neighbors and bad luck things came together this afternoon at 4:00. I whispered BAMM! when the shot broke with the tom at 4 yards.  :)

Thanks again everyone  :)

The new heads are machined out of a solid piece of steel. Very true and very easy to get really sharp. I'll try to get a picture.

Mike, I like that bow so much I had this spare made, They are the same except for the riser piece. I hadn't used this one yet and wanted to break it in.

Denny> Gongrats. Question? When you switched to three under, did you have a new BW made for three under, or are you shooting your split finger bow. If you are shooting your split finger bow, How did you quiet the bow down, and how much higher did you move the knocking point. Rod

Denny , id love to see strung pick of ur bow! thats nice shooting!!!!!  :)

Post by: Dsturgisjr on April 25, 2009, 09:01:00 PM
Rod, I am just using the regular split tiller. Paper and bare shaft tuning told me to raise nocking point 1/8". I don't notice any extra noise with these bows.

Here is a pic of all my bows

Let me know if I have it right top to bottom:

Graybark
Osage
Autumn Oak
Tulipwood

Kingwood

That is a *nice* collection of PL's Mr. Sturgis!

I *particularly* like the contrast of the woods in the Osage model,

Are they all takedowns?

Shoot straight, Shinken
