A03451:
PURPOSE OR GENERAL IDEA OF BILL:   This bill  will  require  that  any
expended  projectile,  expended  shell  casing or gun seized, found or
otherwise coming into possession of any state or local law enforcement
agency be submitted to the division of state police, which shall cause
to be  entered  in  the  automated  electronic  databank  (established
pursuant  to subdivision six of section 369-ff of the general business
law) pertinent  data  and  other  ballistic  information  relevant  to
identification  of  the expended projectile, expended shell casing, or
gun.
A03847/A00076: has to do with neglecting to store a weapon properly
I can't find anything against snowmobles or ATV's, although I whish I did, and I sure couldn't find anything against rockclimbing, and I doubt I ever will.

Sounds pretty good to me

Contact your local legislators and voice your displeasure with the choice of Mr. Grannis as next DEC Commishioner directly to them.  Petitions don't carry that much weight.  Letters and telephone calls are the best ways to go.

Keep the telephone calls and letters coming.  Assemblyman Grannis is not tkaing over the DEC anytime soon.  He is being kept on the back burner due to the outrage we've been raising about his nomination.  His past record is being looked into as to his anti-firearm, anti-hunting, and anti-trapping stances.  "He's cooling his heels for a while"!!!!!
