Anti-hunters have control of this poll right now, we need to bring it back up, thanks to everyone who votes
-
That was easy enough.
-
yup
-
I always enjoy reading the comments at the bottom of an article like that. Some of the theories these people have are way out there!!

Done.
Funny how the ones who are always against hunting are ones who are the most out of touch with nature.

43/57 now.
-
Done
-
Now it's 46/54.
-
I just voted and it's 44/56.

The poll isn't very valid. I did a little test(I'm sure those against the hunt have already figured this out). If you clear your browser's cache you can vote each time that you do this. Not hard to skew the results this way.
I am not condoning doing this by the way. Just providing a little basis for how reliable the poll results are/could be.

Oh come on! You know they stay on the trail, contribute to the Sierra Club, have save-the-whale bumper stickers, watch "Animal Planet" every night and recycle the biodegradable utensils after the PETA meeting. What do you mean they aren't in touch with nature? :p

I think that lady that said it was so cute should go up the tree with it and see.
I love the guy with the shovels - doesn't look he has spent a day in the woods if he thinks he can get a bear OUT of a tree by banging the shovels together.
If they all left the bear would just come down. It will wander around trying to find an easy meal and maybe eat another YAPPY dog...no big deal.
Could you imagine if raccons grew to be 300 pounds...hmmm they would be unlocking your windows and doors and be in the kitchen raiding the fridge (cause they are way smarter).
Amazing

Corzine was an a$$,I just voted thanks.

The bear issue in NJ is a political circus. The biggest number of people who want to put a end to bear hunting don't live in bear country. We have " the bear group" the seirra club, the HSUS,PETA and all the pea brain walt disney off spring that follow these groups around. The bear population in the northern part of the state is out of hand. Trust me, I can show you damage beyond your wildest dreams. The funny part is these animals have been picked, pulled and studied till the cows came home and most all the papers end up stating that hunting is the only viable means of controlling the population. What gets me, is the state will use bow hunters to cull the deer heard in every sensitive area in the state but won't allow bow hunting for bears.
-
OK
-
It's 2:00 pm Friday, March 12, and the hunters are down on the pole 45% to 55%. :-(

Thanks for posting this

Your absolutely right. Forgive me for my misconception... :knothead:
I'mer head down to the farmers market and get me a sack of trail mix right away, that way my thinking will get smarter. :bigsmyl:
Honestly, though, it would be so much nicer if the anti's would only learn the facts and realize that we are part of the ecosystem, too---not just observers. Nature relies on we humans to participate, too.

If anything the bear would whip their tails and steal their trail mix. Bears love some raisins.

done, everytime i see a story like this or regarding PETA in general it makes me think of this story http://tradgang.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=4;t=000060
its funny to me how the peta peeps are so quick to damn people for hunting while wearing expensive leather shoes, eating and Mcdonalds and living in a track home that probably contributed to thusands of acres of habitat lost. just my opinion
P.S. im not condemining any of that i myself live in a track home, to me it just makes them seem like hypocrits

You guys realize that you can vote MORE THAN ONCE, don't you?
I suspect that is what the anti-hunters are doing.
As they say in Chicago, "Vote early, vote often."
-
yep!
-
done......it is sad how some people put "human" characteristics to animals......let little FEE-fee get ate or a house or two broke into and feelings seem to change REAL quick......too many bears is the problem....to solve, eliminate some through hunting....quite simple if you think about it.......

-
To easy and DONE!
-
The antis are piling it on again and it's now 50/50 again with them ahead in actual votes.
-
I just voted and the No's are ahead by a very small margin. Statistically it's 50-50. I hope more hunters jump on there and vote.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention,
God bless,Mudd

Done. 50/50

I just voted

A lot of trashtalk here ^^
I hope this is mostly for venting and fun, and you realize that Peta also does good work..
I know there are 'Antis' that lie and cheat to get their way, but the same goes for hunters as well..
Both sides apply dirty tactics to win, as both sides strongly feel the other part is ignorant and of inferior experience.. Luckily it is only a small part of both sides :)
That aside, sometimes one must step in and regulate animal population, that's just the way it is! Just don't do like Norway, where we only have 18 wolves left in the entire country, and are still debating whether to kill them or not..
Don't actually know where I'm going with this, so I'll just shut up now ^^
Keep healthy, stay balanced aim true and hunt well!
-
yes, vote.

I just voted. HAVE YOU ?????????

Done glad to do my part and keep hunting rights for everybody. Widow
-
glad to help
-
Don't see anything about bow hunting or know that us non-Jersey residents have any business messing with this poll even if it was about bow hunting!
-
We SHOULD be able to win this easily!
-
Close to taking over the lead, 48/52
I know it doesn't talk about bowhunting or doesn't pertain to all states, heck I am in MN, but the whole point is support hunting as a whole as a means to control population and just plain old supporting hunting, I am not a bowhunter, but I do know if any animal's population is out of control than we should intervene instead of letting mother-nature doing her nasty thing.
-
I have to admit that after I urged my fellow TradGang members to "vote early, vote often" on this poll, I couldn't vote a second time. I just couldn't get myself to do something that went against my own personal code of conduct. I regret that I urged members to vote more than once, and I apologize for doing so.
