Title: Winners of the Book Giveaway - " How to make knives" on page 4

I don't know if some of you have read this book but if you haven't, you have to put this on your " Must Read " list.  I must say that this is one of the most informative books on knifemaking that I have ever read.  Since I replied to Bernie's Book Tread about this very awesome read, I have decided to give one away as a draw.  

Believe me that once you will have read it, you'll be pretty impressed with it as it not only shows you how to make a awesome knife using the appropriate machinery, it also shows you how to make that same knife using only hand files.

So if your interested in giving this a read, put your names in and I'll draw the book in a few days.  Shipping is on me.

Uh - since i haven't got back to read your post on my thread,Daniel, (I will right after this) this caught me "underwares" (unaware). I did see the book mentioned on lists of books at knife sites though.

Thank you for participating is such large numbers, that actually got me thinking......" I bet ya the guys would really like it if we added a second book ( How to make knives ) to the draw".

So, I will be drawing two books instead of one making two winners.

I don't know if you noticed but the Gentlemen moderating this Knife Tread are folks that lead through example, thank you guys.  Let's continue to share the knowledge we have with our fellow knifemakers.

My sister In Law is Robert Loveless' daughter. I've been in his shop several times when he lived in Lawndale, CA where I grew up. Too bad I didn't have an interest in knife making back then. I was more interested in his rabbit ear collection he had hanging on his garage door. I'd like a chance at the book.

Well, I did order the book (recommended by Daniel and blade mag)this afternoon (it's out of stock at Texas) from Jantz. They send you a free catalog with an order, if requested. I got excited and forgot to request one. So I sent them a message, about an hour later, at their "contact us" info - just as a hail Mary (figuring they'd never connect the two) explaining, and asking if they could try to see that one got in with the book. Well, they fooled me - I got a message confirming my order (standard fare) and not 10 minutes later I got a message (non-standard type) from a lady saying, "We will put a catalog in with your book." I know it is to their benefit to get their catalogs out to prospective knife builders but it still struck me as pretty neat - LOL I think it is notable when you find a supplier where the right hand does know what the left one is doing.
