Thanks Vic! Good to see ya too, I didnt tell you the other day that I am still wearing that armgaurd you made me!
The little one has Osage scales, the Big one has Walnut and Osage to match my Walnut and Osage Shrew Gold and the skinner has some crosscut Bocote with a wenge stripe and White phrnolic cap.
-
Sure, Thanks, good to read the gang again. Well at least the guard hasn't fallen apart. Pretty darn good looking knifes, when the lady going to let you go full time knife making? Vic
-
LOL, yeah right I am just a rank amature at this knife making thang! LOL
-
Those are great knives!
I love the temper lines and file work.....what type of steel are they? 1065?
How did you go about differential tempering?
-
They all sell brother! Lot of people in your self named catagory. Look at those Made in China stamped out Knifes. I have seen people go crazy over them at flea markets... nothing better than made by hand....
-
Farmboy they arent diff temp lines those are the ginds I put on them and then sanded them to a smooth transition instead of a harsh grind.
Thanks Vic but I know I dont like knife making enough to do it for a living. I would get tired of it pretty fast! LOL
-
wowzers bro those are SAWEEEEEEEET!!!!!!!! ya done a great job on those.<><
-
Well I like them anyway!
i was going to work on my file knife today but I got the flu and its -30f out......no gumption to light fire in the shop.
