I have a good friend (and member here) who is an artist when it comes to hunting gear..knives, bows, leather goods etc..
I sent 3 Helle blades to him and asked him to put some handles on them.
He just sent me pictures of the first one.
It's a Helle Brakar blade and a wood/elk antler handle. The finger guard is made from antler  I can't wait to get it.

I really like how the handle woods resemble the riser laminations on some bows. Anyone else notice this? Was that intentional? Does it match your bow? Beatiful knife even if it doesn't, but quite a cool concept to expand on in the future as well.

Bunyan, I sent him 3 blades and this was the first knife he did.
He told me that on one of the next two he has the perfect handle to match a bow he made for me.
I can't wait.
