Just learned how to post photos and thought I'd share some pics of a knife Doug made for me a couple years ago. I had the sheath made for it. The top third or so of the blade is also sharpened. Carbon steel and just looking at it will make your eyes bleed. I also had Doug make the handle just a hair longer than he normally would have to fit my big mits. Hope you enjoy

Man, I'd sure love to be "Sweatin'" again. Soon, I hope to be retired and spendin' a lot of time chasin' critters and makin' friends, as well as renewing old ones. Doug, I cleaned that knife up quite a bit before posting...you know what carbon steel looks like if you really use it. LOL....The guy that made my sheath is a knife maker also, OZ knives, He doesn't forge but does some nice work. When he saw Doug's knife he was very impressed and immediately knew it was forged and commented on the craftmanship. He lined the sheath and said that a great knife like that deserved a lined sheath. Thanks Doug!

He He He... Doug sent me a teaser pic of my knife. I'm tempted to post it. But, Shes' not quite finised yet. I had Norm Johnson of Blacktail Bows sent me riser cutouts from my new bow to have incorporated in Dougs damacus knife. Just let me tell you. I am Very Pleased. I'll post a new thread with the knife and bow pictured in a week or so. Doug....
