Title: a couple of little ones
Post by: OconeeDan on March 04, 2008, 11:35:00 PM
Here's what I call my 'lil sharpie.  A 2" blade,440c, with a brazilian cherry handle/ yellow liners.

Next is a 2.5"  440c droppoint, with brass bolster and cocobolo handle.  Ready to BLOODY UP.
Thanks for looking!

Those are great! the knifes look cool. the leather is nice, and I love the file work. I was wondering today how to get those swirly things on the blade like on the 2nd one

Thanks!  Farmboy, I wouldn't call anything I make perfect, but the hollow grinds just take practice. I found that using sharp belts, and leaning into it hard helps (more pressure when grinding).  Can mess up fast, but it'll make the "groove" faster, just stay in the groove after that.
