Title: Three new ones
Post by: skullworks on March 28, 2008, 07:13:00 AM
Here are three that I just finished. One is damascus with some file work and buckeye burl scales. One is a Two Finger Knives 1095 carbon blade with Koa scales and mosaic pins. The middle one is a 440 stainless coffin handle Bowie with koa and spacers on the handle. Got to make sheaths now! Enjoy

Really like that damascus with the filework and burl scales.Very nice!!

Have you had any issues with the burl, wether buckeye, spalted maple, ect. ever pitting on you??I know even tho it's stabilized most times,it still seems to have some unstable lines/pits,at least the ones I've been using.Just wondering if the shaping of the scales gives you any problems??

Didn't have any trouble with these but I know when you are sanding then if you use a belt sander you better pay attention because they will sand away pretty fast! LOL!

That is the hard part and why they take so long. I generally have several going at once.

HELP!  For some reason, my computer refuses to finish downloading pictures of skullworks knives. I can't see these nor could I see the ones he posted a few weeks ago. From the descriptions and comments, I NEED to see these knives! I can see everyone elses. Can anyone help me? Thanks, Mike
