Title: Gotta ?

I need to identify a knife a guy at work gave me. It's got a diamond with an "R" in it. Damascus steel.

Also would like to find someone to "fix" it. He said he dropped it point first which caused a little crinkle to the tip. He says it has hardly any temper to the steel.

Any help would be appreciated.
