A little photographic indulgance, if I may...
Blade by Lord Farquar (hand hammered from an old rasp, I believe) Bang on 3"long so EDC legal for the UK.
Liners & back spacer are 01 (3mm liners, 4mm spacer) They were supposed to be brass lined stainless, but we won't talk about that. Needless to say, this is this knife's third & absolute last incarnation.
Handle slabs are Pau Rosa, left at a 400grit, matt finish & then oiled with Teak (decking) oil.
The handle shape (and in fact the motivation to finish the knife) is 100% inspired by Murat Klein's sensational (Daaahhling!) Bocote hunter.

nice, Rob!!!!
-
That is Outstanding! Rob!
-
Nice. What is 3" EDC legal?
-
In the UK, the only knives we're allowed to carry for day to day use, without a legal 'Good Reason' are sub-3", non-locking folders.
EDC is short for Every Day Carry, in the UK knife world!
-
Rob, don't you wish you made the rules there?
-
Nope! Moving to Tennessee next year :D
The rules here can bite me :biglaugh:
-
Way cool!
-
when I was in scotland, I saw anti-knife comercials on tv, first guns, then knives, next will be bows, its a shame, awsesome looking knife though!
-
Very cool. I like it when you can see the file or rasp teeth in the blade.
