Title: Mora and antler Skinner
Post by: skullworks on May 12, 2008, 08:07:00 AM
Here is a mora knife I made for a guy on another forum. Whitetail antler with a CCC embellished sheath. Hope he likes it. Should have put a plastic liner in the sheath so be careful to not stick the blade through the side of sheath. Did it once and had to remake the sheath!  (http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c87/Sloppy_Snood/smiliespart2/5c14afe4.gif)
 LOL!

Way cool-- where do you get your blanks and leather? (7-8 oz)Do you do the wet form to shape? Larry

I get my leather from Tandy...we have a local one. I case my leather with rubbing alcohol...dries faster. LOL! The Mora blade came from Ragweed Forge on the net.

That turned out nice! I love your sheath's

The blade through the sheath thing happened with the last one I built as well......its frustrating!
