I just finished this one.
It has a Stag handle that is supposed to look like bone. The blade is forged from 5160 and is 4 inches, the guard and buttcap are Stainless.

Looks great!
How did you finish the antler? I have made many using "interior" antler, because that is what was wanted. The porous interior loads up with buffing compound. Gives a very different look.
But I was after a more "consistant" look, I filled with epoxy , then it didn't load up so much.
Or did you buff at all? Hard to tell from the photo, but it could just be hand sanded down pretty fine and left at that.
Thanks, Dan

By the way, does that knife take down?

Nice, you have been busy!!

You are the MAN Lin !

Thanks. No it filled it with epoxy on the last fit up. I actually fill it in two stages, but I'll tell you about that later.
I used Minwax wood hardener on the handle to fill the pores, but it will still turn black with compound. I hand sand to a fine finish, lightly buff with a clean wheel, and wax.
