This is an interpretation of Bill Moran's Camp Bowie. It has an 11 inch blade of 5160, stainless gaurd and main handle pin, Curly Maple handle with pure Silver wire inlay. OAL is 16 inches. Lin

Wow, Lin. I don't know what to say.
You gonna have that in Atlanta?
(I need inlay lessons!)

Karl,
Yea, I'll have it. I need lessons too. Still lots of room to improve. I enjoyed making this knife. Thanks, Lin

Lovely knife, Lin. Not a huge fan of the inlay work m'self, but that's just a personal thing. Everything else is just perfect!

Lin
I like that one best of all you've showed us!!!!
-
Very nice!! Why is it considered a camp knife instead of a bowie? Its definately big enough. Or is it just as simple as wanting to call it what ever the maker wants?
I like the curly maple!

Ya know, some people just have their 'signature' on everything they make. Lin, every knife you make is different but each carries your DNA. You were blessed with some awsome knife making genes! I haven't seen one of yours that wasn't first class. Thanks for keeping at it and giving me my 'Lin fix!' Mike
