Title: Recurved belt knife for Africa
Post by: robtattoo on June 04, 2008, 07:14:00 AM
I've been thinking about a bigger knife to take to Namibia with me. I came up with this fella;

OAL - 12-1/4"
Blade length - 7-1/4"
Blade - convex/scandi ground 3mm 01, edge quenched.
Handle - Thuya Burr with 3, 8mm pins & lanyard tube.
Sheath - 4mm veg-tan with raised Bullsnake skin inlays.

Wow! And double WOW! That is one beefy knife! I like the convex grind over a hollow grind edge. Makes for one strong blade. That sheath turned out simply awesome! Nice combo there Rob!

Now that is a knife! What are you planning on hunting? Remember you only get two bags and your knife looks like it will count as one.   :biglaugh:

Well folks after a brief conversation, earlier today, with Karl Anderson, this is now available through the Sponsor's Classifieds.
Looks like I'm gonna be needing the money!  :D
