we'll haven't forged anything in a few years, but had a selection of 4 or 5 blades that were forged and heat treated.....just waiting for handles and edges. I was home sick and got bored so I decided to finish one up before hunting season starts.
small hunter...hand forged from recycled high carbon steel (truck coil spring). Forged to shape (including bevel), hand filed and hand sanded. ironwood handle slabs and bronze brazing rod pins. blade length is 3 1/8" OL 7 3/4"
sorry about the crappy pic.
working on a sheath now...
