Finally got this one done, hope it does well for the kids. It's headed off tomorrow to our friend and Leathersmith Extraordinaire Robin Severe for him to work his magic. The Osage handle wood was given to me by fellow Trad Ganger Patrick Gibble. I think he said it was from a hundred year old fence post down there in OK. I think he will approve its use here.
The blade is a slow twist Damascus, 4 3/4" long with Dam guard and sculpted spacer. The Osage has nine coats of Tung Oil on it.
We'll post better pics when Robin gets the sheath done.

That looks great, Doug. Ever since using Osage on one knife last year, I've really come to like it. The detail on the butt reminds me of John...or did he get that from you? ;)
