Title: Buckeye burl, cocbola and ebony
Post by: Track on July 15, 2015, 02:39:00 PM
Here's three knives I just finished. Blades are CPM154 stainless and are 4" in length. A little different from some other recent knives I've made.

Those are pretty. I like the middle one best because of the grain of the wood and filework. Is that Cocobolo?

Thanks much.
It is cocobola Lin. It's the first time I've used cocobola because of all I've heard about how toxic it is to breath. But i couldn't resist this piece because of the great grain.

Very nice! Not only do the handles look great, the blades look fantastic as well. I have to agree, the cocobolo knife is my favorite.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the thumbs up. Looks like I'll have to use some more of the cocobola I've been holding on to.
